High-Impact Labs
Words for wellness brands. Insights for performance-minded humans.
I turn science into stories, strategies, and sentences for the people who want to understand it and the brands that need to articulate it.
What I Do
I turn complex science into sweet, sweet content that people literally print out and put on their fridge.
For Humans
Get scientific deep dives chock full of all the things you’re probably Googling at all hours of the night anyway, as well as emotionally charged field notes on resilience, grit, reinvention, and all the crazy, messy shit that makes us human (because connection is also important for longevity).
For Brands
When you’re tired of marketing, you’re tired of life. Okay, not really, but if your messaging sounds about as exciting as Garrison Keillor on quaaludes and your conversion copy wouldn’t even convert your own mother, then I’m here to help.
Who I Am
Someone who has studied the brain should probably know better than to light herself on fire, but what can I say? I blame my DRD4-7R gene (IYKYK).
A few years ago, while building Tally Health’s email newsletters, I noticed something strange.
Subscribers kept sharing the emails, posting about them on social, and writing in saying, “I print all your emails out,” or “This helped me so much.” Then our competitors started stealing our content.
And as our list climbed past 100,000 subscribers, the pattern became hard to ignore: the emails people cared about all came from me (but without my name on it).
Turns out, I’m really good at making people care about complicated science (hello, mTOR) and uncomfortable conversations (cough, cough, aging and mortality). And I should be, as I’ve spent the last 15 years being the wizard behind the marketing curtain for health, biohacking, and longevity brands.
I’m here to help health brands write the words that build trust and superfans, but I also write for the people who want to take their health seriously so they can take bigger leaps in life, because time is finite, risk is unavoidable, and life is meant to be truly and deeply lived (and we can only intermittent fast so much).
So now I’m writing all the content you’ve loved reading from other health brands (aka maybe me), but (finally!) under my own name.
Enjoy.
The Content Lab
Come for the science, stay for the impact.
Neuromarketing + Buyer’s Psychology
Get inside your audience’s heads better than a shrink. Here you’ll find the latest insights (and how to actually apply them) in neuromarketing. Warning: May cause sudden clarity and an intolerance to bad marketing.
Essays from the Edge
Here for the breakthroughs, mindset shifts, identity crises, and ridiculous adventures that get me strapped to planes and moving my entire life abroad on a whim? This is the spot for absurd “what the hell is she doing” inspiration (and maybe a little schadenfreude) that’s like an extra nudge to just do the damn thing already because life is short.
The Science of Extraordinary
Life’s too short to hate your luteal phase, jump on every TikTok health craze, or wonder why you keep waking up at 3am. This research-driven content dives into everything from sleep and exercise to overall lifestyle, wellbeing, and human performance without fearmongering or trying to sell you some product to help with “cortisol face.”
Field Notes from the Arena
…where I’m often getting my a** kicked (sometimes literally). This is where you get the real, unfiltered training logs, performance experiments, and what products I’m loving (and not). If you’re curious about health optimization and the human performance world, whether that’s being lit on fire or testing some new device promising to boost my HRV, you’ll find it all here. But don’t expect Bryan Johnson-level experimentation — we like to keep it real, folks.
